EZRA JINANG REPRESENTS PLATEAU STATE AT THE PRESTIGIOUS BERLIN-LAGOS FILM FESTIVAL

Barr. Ezra Jinang, Senior Special Assistant on Creativity and Entertainment to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, attended the Berlin-Lagos Film Festival in Lagos, showcasing the state's rich cultural heritage and commitment to promoting creativity.

In his speech, Jinang praised the Governor's dedication to fostering artistic growth, highlighting Plateau State's reputation as a hub for peace and tourism. "Jos remains the home of peace and tourism, welcoming all people of Nigeria and the world," Jinang stated.

Jinang expressed gratitude to Governor Mutfwang for sponsoring his participation, citing the Governor's passion for promoting creativity and the presence of the Nigerian Film Corporation in Plateau State. "It's always a pleasure to show our gratitude and support to them," he added.

The 4-day festival, which kicked off on Sunday with a grand opening ceremony, brought together industry stakeholders, including Dr. Ali Nuhu, Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation, the Permanent Secretary representing the Minister of Creative Economy, Tourism, and Culture, the German Consular General to Nigeria, and other top dignitaries.

Plateau State's participation in the festival underscores its commitment to showcasing its creative potential and fostering cultural exchange.
