ATIKU ABUBAKAR IN A CONDOLENCE VISIT TO MISHKAGHAM MWAGHAVUL OF PLATEAU STATE

Yesterday, the Presidential candidate of PDP, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar accompanied by the party National chairman Senator Iyorchia Ayu, and other eminent personalities of the Party were in Jos to sympathize with the People of Plateau State over the unfortunate incident that bedeviled their esteem supporters en route Mangu from Pankshin after the central zone flag-off campaign of the Party.

Barr. Caleb Mutfwang accompanied him to the residence of the Party Patron in Plateau, Senator Jonah David Jang on a condolence visit over the tragic incident.

Atiku expressed his grief and empathy as he interacted with victims and their families at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH.

His Excellency and his team also paid a visit to the Palace of the Mishkaham Mwaghavul, His Royal Highness, Daa John Putmang Hirse, where he commiserated with the Royal Father and the entire Mwaghavul Chiefdom over the unfortunate incident.

He prayed for their souls to rest and for a quick recovery for those still disabled in the hospital.

The sum of 40million naira was donated to cater for the casualties affected by the dreaded incident. 30 Million donated by His Excellency Atiku Abubakar while 10 Million donated by the party national Chairman Ayu Iyorchia which make up the 40million.
