AMB. GODWIN TAKAT CLEARED FROM EFCC, ICPC, DESCRIBED REPORT PRESENTED TO THE ANTI GRAFT AGENCIES AGAINST HIM AS WITCH HUNT AND POLITICAL

  It will be recalled that Chief Amb Godwin Takat a business mogul.... was summoned by the EFCC due to a report filed against him to the Commission. According to Amb Takat who was an aspirant for Mangu South House of Assembly in the year 2022 said he first received a phone call by the EFCC about a week to the Plateau  PDP State House of Assembly Primaries.

   He honoured the invitation of the EFCC immediately where they later placed an Investigation on all his businesses across the country in other to ascertain his source of income considering the fact that he was a Civil Servant. According to the EFCC, some of the documents presented to them include a picture of his Hotel which was reported to EFCC that the building cost 1 Billion Naira, the picture photographs of the two youth centers he built in his hometown Kombun and Bwai respectively, the Golden Brain Academy Karu, Abuja, The Fashionotes & Spa  located at Wuse 2 in Abuja, e.t.c

  After series of investigation the EFCC had realised that known of his account was linked with any illegal transactions, and they've also discovered that all his businesses emanated  as a result of his determination and willingness to succeed as a well known entrepreneur.

  Furthermore, one week after he was freed from EFCC custody there was also a report filed to ICPC against him in which they went straight ahead to declared him wanted. Chief Takat who has been a law abiding citizen immediately availed him self at the ICPC headquarters in Abuja were he challenged his home address and age that was published on media by ICPC  describing it as incorrect. The ICPC had told him that the information about his identity was extracted from the content of the report filed against him by undisclosed person(s). Among some of the contents of reports filed against him to the ICPC as evidence include a write up by *farmhousereporters.blogspot.com* news about him after he had received the *Democracy Hero's award* presented to him at the Abuja Transcope Hilton Hotel in 2019 alongside *Sen Dino Melaye, Governor Sule of Nasarawa State, 2Face Idibia, Kenneth Okonkwo(Nigerian actor)* and many others where the news publishers while exonerating his achievements said as a worker with the Nigerian Federal Civil Service he has given Jobs to Over 200 people from Plateau state hence the need for the ICPC to invite him to come and explain how as a civil servant not upto the rank of a Permanent Secretary to come and explain how he was able to achieve it where he was accused of federal  government Job racketeering. There was also a report presented to ICPC about him that he has sold out 500 jobs to people where he has denied the claims as untrue and after a series of investigation there was no evidence and justification by the ICPC to proved him culpable. He has told the Commission to invite the people who gave them all the reports against him to provide evidence.

Chief Amb Godwin Takat has lamented that the allegations presented to the anti graft agencies against him was political and witch hunt in which the aimed he believed was to bring him down and ridicule him but to God's glory the Lord who has blessed him over the years has continued to preserved and vindicated him, saying he has no evil plan against anyone and will never pray for his enemies not to succeed. He appreciated God for people who took time to pray for his success and safety.

   According to some reports from some angles, that all the business premises of Mr Takat was sealed and that he has ran out of the country. In his words, that to set the record straight, that he has been in Abuja since after his primary election and non of his business premises was seal by any anti graft agencies as speculated by the public. That his hotel which was widely talked about was never sealed but was only marked by the EFCC, that the hotel is now waxing, glowing and still remain the top rated hotel in the city of Jos.
