MY ENCOUNTER WITH A YOUNG KEKE NAPEP RIDER || MAIWA'AZI HOSEA ||

Yesterday i boarded a Keke NAPEP as it's fondly called here in Plateau State from my house to Old Airport Junction, on our way the rider who is a young man in his early 30s started lamenting about his travails. 

According to him, he woke up that fateful morning to commence work but to his dismay, he met one of the legs of his Keke empty. Someone who cherished his tire more than him had removed it which left his Keke incapacitated.

The most annoying part of the story to this young Keke rider is that, the tire that was stolen was a new tire he just bought not up to a week for N15,000.00. And he's preparing for his introduction in some few days to come.

While mourning for his lost tire, a friend of his came to the rescue by helping him with one of his spear tire to enable him work and raise some money to meet up with his Wedding Introduction. This became the silver lining which served as a spring board for him to jump into his daily hustle again. And it was on one of his shuttle that we met and he offered to take me to Old Airport Junction from Rantya.

While on our way, he never shy away from narrating his ordeal to anyone who cares to listen as a way of venting his anger and frustration. Almost every perssenger he picked on the way, he keeps narrating the same story and you could see the bitterness and frustration as he narrate his story.

What caught my attention in his story was his determination to revenge by way of consulting some oracles and spiritualists. In his words he said "oga i swear that when I travel to my village and come back, the thief will hear from me. My mother never thought me to take someone's property, but that person who stole my tire must pay for it." I asked him "my brother, are you a Christian?" and he exclaimed "yes sir, but this time around i will leave God out of this matter and deal with this thief".

It was at that point that i jumped in telling him if he believes in God, he can't leave God out of his matter. Infact the best person to leave this matter on his table is God Almighty. In my words i said to him "you see, whenever you decide to leave a supposed injustice done to you for God to judge, He handles it more better than any man in this world".

What Babalawos will do is to punish the person in their evil way, but God's judgment will bring punishment and blessings to you".

At this point, the young man slowed down and took a deep breath. "Oga many people both young and old have tried persuading me to leave this matter to God, but I refused. But your words pierce through my heart and I want to believe what you said, I'll leave this matter to God."

At that point I encouraged him to put his trust in God and Him alone. Because he said vengeance is His. I told him that when God start his own, he would later on thank Him for not running ahead of him.

As we arrived Old Airport Junction, the conversation was almost winding down and i had a leading in my heart to sow a little token for his Introduction. I prayed for the success of the introduction and he became a happy man.

I have been of the believe that God is a perfect judge and whatever injustice you might have suffered if you learn to look unto him and make room for His intervention, you'll see wonders.

A few weeks ago my friend, was robbed in Abuja and his car was almost taken, but for the security in the vehicle it wasn't successful. Yet all his belongings were carted away with. But in all these, his conclusion was that God is good and faithful and he has rested in the sovereignty of God.

Dear child of God i don't know what injustice you are suffering from, but if your faith and trust is in God, you'll come out victorious and what was meant for evil, God will turn it for your good.
