[POLITICS] FIVE (5) CRITICAL OBJECTIVES OF HON. BARR. CALEB MUTFWANG || GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE...

The Time to take our State back from the brink of collapse is Now! My burden is to provide the requisite leadership, for the actualization of our shared desire to rebuild a new Plateau; that will be secure, united, prosperous and well respected in the committee of States in Nigeria, and thus ensure that Plateau regains its pride of place and competitive advantage in Nigeria and beyond. If given the opportunity, I shall focus on five (5) broad but critical objectives; through the #RebuildPlateauProject:

1. REBUILD THE BOND OF UNITY
Rebuild the united bond of the people of the Plateau, for the work that lays ahead of us; by providing leadership that would rally the people to reclaim all the boundaries of Plateau State, so that the lost glory of the Plateau is restored.

2. REBUILD SECURITY MANAGEMENT CAPACITY
Rebuild a new security architecture for the Plateau, that will secure the lives and properties of her peoples; thereby restoring authentic and sustainable peace anchored on inter-ethnic unity and mutual respect. By God’s grace we shall strongly advocate for security federalism, through the creation of State Police, starting with reviving Operation Rainbow.

3. REBUILD HUMAN CAPITAL & INSTITUTIONS
Rebuild the enormous Plateau human capital, that has blessed the nation in various ways; in line with the Millennium Development Goals and world’s best practice.

4. REBUILD THE PLATEAU ECONOMY
Rebuild the Plateau economy by creating a globally competitive business environment, capable of driving a revolution in the agricultural sector; anchored on value chain development and expansion, as well as the development of dry seasonal farming. We shall leverage on the initial gains, of the now destroyed ASTC legacy.

5. REBUILD CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Rebuild Plateau’s dilapidated infrastructure in the power, transportation, educational and health sectors; that will make Plateau an investment and tourism destination.
