THIS IS THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT MADE TO THE PUBLIC BY THE TINUBU-SHETTIMA SUPPORT GROUP. IN RESPECT TO CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA C.A.N DISTANCING ITSELF FROM THE MUSLIM-MUSLIM TICKET.

The support group says: Despite Criticism of Muslim-Muslim Ticket, Bishops, Pastors Stormed Venue of Unveiling of Shettima to represent all Christian bodies in full support of Tinubu-Shettima.

Among dignataries attending the event which is currently holding at the Musa Yar’adua centre in Abuja are coalition of Bishops, pastors and other Christian groups.

The Bishops were spotted in their numbers dressed in their cassocks.

This is contrary to the position of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), which has vehimently condemned the choice of Muslim-Muslim ticket as insensitive to the ethno-religion diversity of Nigeria.

Recall the Christian body had on Tuesday issued an official statement rejecting selection of Kashim Shettima as the running mate to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

One of the Bishops who spoke to journalists said that they were at the event to declare their support for Tinubu-Shettima presidential ticket!

Now tell us, the Bishops that attended that gathering representing Nigerian Christian bodies, are they nameless and "addressless"?
