This is what Kashim Shettima said concerning those criticizing Muslim-Muslim presidential movement:

Hunger knows no religion, insecurity knows no ethnicity and poor infrastructure knows no region.

In response to that, below is the response of the former minister of the federal republic, former minister for youth and sport, Honorable Solomon Dalung of Plateau State. 

 Dalung: Then why are you and Tinubu playing religious card? If Northern Muslims elected twice southern Christians as Presidents with Muslims Vice, why do you think they cannot elect Southern Muslim with Northern Christian as President and vice-president.

Your candidature is an attack on the sanity of our diversity. Sorry I may sound harsh my brother.
