NIGERIA 🇳🇬 @61 INDEPENDENCE DAY SPEECH BY REV. YAKUBU PAM || THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR NIGERIA ||

Though most Nigerian families are not finding life easy, but there is need to keep hope alive. Nigeria will surely get to its final destination.

I sympathize with those families that have gone through one ugly experience or the other.

Inspite of all these situations we are facing as a nation, i strongly believe that there is still hope.

I call on Nigerians to continue to ensure and believe that the unity of the country is not negotiable, i urge us all to imbibe the values of nationhood.

Things may not be well as expected, because God wants to test us. We must be courageous as a people and be optimistic at all times.

I urge those in leadership positions in the country to be exemplary in governance.

I charge members of the Armed Forces and security operatives to pursue peace with virgour and put an end to banditry, kidnapping and all forms of security threats bedeviling the country, this is a virus that must be deciminated.

I charge the Army and the security agencies once more to always fish out the perpetrators of all the heinous crimes in our society.

I urge all the security agencies to come together and work in synergy if they must win the fight against insurgency and other criminalities.

I  call on non governmental organisations to come to the aid of displaced Nigerians and provide basic care and needs for humanity sake.

I task the government at all levels to urgently address the problems of the Internally Displaced Persons in the society.

Religious and traditional rulers should also rise and ensure that their people are law abiding because they earned their trusts.

Well meaning Nigerians, religious leaders and traditional rulers need to be circumspect with the words they speak, and should weigh every word that comes out of their mouth, as we all know, there is power in the tongue.

Lets keep Faith. It is well with Nigeria.

God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria 🙏🇳🇬

Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam.

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC).
