PRAY FOR PLATEAU AND NIGERIA AS A WHOLE: MAZADU DADER BAKO, PhD.

Peaceful coexistence among people of different tribes, class, religion, political affiliations and so on can only be made possible when there is unity of purpose in leadership and followership as well as impartial justice system where human right is not trampled upon for gold or silver. It is also made possible when governement as an institution with the sole aim of protecting, and providing the needed security and basic amenities; infrastructures, good education to all citizens keeps to its responsibilty without fear or favour.

In recent times, the deteriorating nature in economy, selfish committment to leadership, lost and unfaithdul followership, shaky security architecture, politicking policies among other vices that leads to poor performance of leadership has taken a place in Nigeria and Plateau State to be specific. This has seen our State and many other States accross the country becoming an object of mockery by threats thwarting efforts and prayers of the citizens to live in peace.

Nonetheless, the fate of this country and our dear State is not limited to those factors. By faith, we know that there is always light at the end of the tunnel because there is no shadow God cannot light up, no mountain he won’t give the strength to climb up, no walls he can’t break down and no lie against Plateau he can’t tear down. And this is always possible when we refused to give up on ourselves but rather intercede fervently for stability and goodwill in leadership. Plateau and Nigeria needs prayers ever than before and also concerted effort for unity of purpose, through this, we conquer the united force ganging up against our progress.

It is on this that I call on the entire citizenry to underetand the factors that divides us, and without giving it a chance embibe spirit of unity for the prosperity of humanity in Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole. Together, we will realise and live in the new Plateau.
