REV. DR. YAKUBU PAM PRESENT AT THE AFRICAN LEADERSHIP AWARD || @ EMERGING LEADERS CONFERENCE, MERIT HOUSE ABUJA, NIGERIA ||

What motivated me to be here today is Youths and my interest in the oneness of Nigeria as a nation. I see young people who believe that Nigeria should remain as one nation under the leadership of God.

Emerging Leaders, as apt as i remember the story of Joseph in the Bible who emerged from nobody to somebody because he had an inner vision. Nigerian youths should have such inner vision for the country so that they can see ahead what their communities and people want and will be in the next 40 years to come.

Youths must be visionary and not give up on their ambitions. Always think of what Nigeria is to be tomorrow just like Joseph saw while in exile. Youths must be leaders of vision and ready to take over.

Its sad seeing and reading on social media how the youths condemn Nigeria on a daily basis. I'm proud to be a Nigerian and i hope and want the youths to believe in that too. 

As youths you must refuse to give up. Many developed countries did not emerge overnight but evolved through hard work. I want to see a people of vision who must pass through experience. God gave us experience so that we should teach others the concepts of leadership. 

Our differences as a people today should be buried in the desire to develop the country and shawn tribalism, sectionalism, religiosity, regionalism and other cleavages in all aspects of our live.

I have faith this conference will not be a waste of time but to proffer solutions to the development of the country.
