Maybe becouse I'm passionate or I feel it’s a way of expression for me to speak about my feelings in a movement, maybe becouse I want to just be famous, maybe becouse I enjoy the screams and satisfaction of killing a performance.

Maybe becouse it's just my career, my work and it pays me. Maybe it's all of it or non of it.

To think that dance is the most powerful tool available to man since history, I have decided that my dance must go beyond simplicity but to carry and reflect the true power and essence of the black culture, and the Nigerian culture with emphasis on the power that lies within African woman, which is the future that cannot be ignored.

As a black woman, I am always given these seemingly devastating experiences — experiences that could absolutely break me.. But what the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls the butterfly.
